בִּכְלָל זֶה יְבֹאר אִסּוּר קַבָּלַת לָשׁוֹן הָרָע וּשְׁמִיעַת לָשׁוֹן הָרָע, וְאֵיךְ יִתְנַהֵג אָדָם בְּעִנְיָנִים אֵלּוּ לְכַתְּחִלָּה, וְגם אִם נִתְפָּס בַּחֲבוּרָה רָעָה שֶׁל בַּעֲלֵי הַלָּשׁוֹן, אֵיךְ יִתְנהֵג לָצֵאת בָּזֶה על פִּי הַתּוֹרָה, וְעוֹד הרְבֵּה עֵנְיָנִים, וּבוֹ י"ב סְעִיפִים.

In this principle there will be explained the issur of accepting lashon hara and hearing lashon hara, and how one should conduct himself in these matters ab initio; and also, if he is "caught" in a bad company of "men of the tongue," how he should conduct himself in accordance with the Torah, and many other details. It contains twelve sections.
